Folk-pop to perfection

That the Jayhawks would once more manage as an album like their greatest times (Hollywood Town Hall and Tomorrow The Green Grass), one would hardly expect. But despite the exit of M. Olsen, the remaining members, led by G. Louis have concentrated on their strengths and added after the weak sound of Lies and the good from the songwriting ago but ultimately overloaded Smile to a significant reduced new album, the no comparison to their early masterpieces must be afraid.
