I use the lid (the 2 I've only once put away) for several weeks now almost every day and am satisfied.
Before I got my dough always covered with plastic wrap, and now I use the lid and thus do not produce unnecessary waste.
It fits well in the bowl and keeps everything tight recognizable covered (after a certain Gärgrad he plops on - which is a sign for me that everything is hermetically sealed).
In the machine I can let my bowl stand with lid, but of course with folded back machine and without kneading / scrambled sentence - for me, this represents no disadvantage, because if I cover something and let stand, then I deal with it very soon on.
