But on the whole TV network is not !!!
Only the devices are operated by the app, which are actually registered to this AP.
Each device is that generally logged in the LAN depends on the Fritz box or another (AVM) repeaters depends gets nothing.

Correction: When entering the IP address of the repeater in the (iOS) app works over LAN.
Unfortunately, that can not be many, and the award of a fixed IP is also cumbersome.
But what is still an absolute shortcoming is that there is no EPG data, and you do not in
is able to edit the channel list. Neither change the order, or remove the Bible and shopping channels! ;-(
Switching times are good though and image quality as well.
