Usually I hear no metal / hard rock.
This album is however so well that I got a song from virtually any catchy.
pre-produced by the band itself, found postproduction, mix & mastering of the album by Pelle Henricsson (including Meshuggah, refused, in flames, Ghost Brigade, Poison The Well) instead.
The artwork was done by Michael Babic, the beautiful little illustrations for each Song put on paper.
lyrically it's about inner turmoil (=> riot), drug addiction, despair etc.
the band musically appears quite variable, especially for a metal band unusual. I mean besides metal roots also grungy undertones and influences of alternative rock to be heard.
I do not want to analyze each song, there are definitely consistently strong songs without lengths, two ballad tinged pieces are on the board, one of them "Teardrop" is a cover of the classic by Massive Attack now.
(My) Anspieltipps: you never tried, Precilla, from behind, riots
