My criticisms (in my personal importance order):
1) According to the manual shall present the Wake-up Light 40-50cm away on dessert. If one is illuminated at night in 40cm distance from the time display (in spite lowest dimming setting), the pleasure is however really limited. There are certainly people who are making up not much, but in my opinion, would have at least 3 more Dimmgrade must be installed downwards. Compared to other alarm clocks is the light already significantly darker, but for me is not dark enough.
2) The switch to turn on the lights is located centrally by two further 1 cm large buttons at the top. If you want to turn on the light at night, you have to get these 3 switches awkward grope at the top of the device, and then but to press the wrong switch. The snooze function, however, is triggered by a short touch the lamp. Why can not you turn off the light by touching the lamp on & and dim? There are plenty of lamps in which it is technically not a problem? Long holding dims (please only after dark), short turns ....
3) You can not specify that snooze / Snooze not only the sound but also the light for 9 minutes off. The time also can not be varied.
4) when you turn on the alarm clock in the dark and the display keys approaches below, light up 4 points that mark the buttons. The label is not illuminated. Why not?
5) The power supply is too big
It should also be noted that the carton of the unit has massive misspellings in English equal to 2, which indicates to the German market in a somewhat careless handling of Philips.
In my view, a really good idea that will help all Beeeepbeeeepbeeep-stricken fellow human beings, but in spite of version 2 are still a lot of room for improvement.
Nevertheless, a buy recommendation from me.
