Obviously the parallel with "Pure Heroin" our dear Lorde is doable and I will use it to make you understand "Evergreen". Both singers have almost the same voice. "Evergreen" is cleaner than "Pure Heroin", "Pure Heroin" is a bit where the Hip-Hop "Evergreen" is more ambient, "Evergreen" is a more mature hair "Pure Heroin" ... but the insolence Lorde is very nice too. Lorde was a side of Lana del Rey poor, I do not feel Lana del Reyisme in Broods. I had noted "Pure Heroin" 17/20 I'd do the same for this album.
The pros:
- The whole album is sublime but if I have to be boring ...
The -:
- ... And Sober Superstar are very Lordesque. (Nothing but annoying ... Lordesque)
- Medicine and Four Walls are soft, very soft, nice but has less personality than other titles.
Score: 17/20
