I bought this lens because I was not enough of the zoom range of the supplied 14-42 lens. I would have preferred buy a lens that starts at 12mm wide angle, unfortunately there is not one such in the range. The purchased lens corresponds to read reviews from me. Since this is an all-round lens, my expectations were not over the top and I am very satisfied with the image quality! It fits the size and weight of the housing of the LUMIX G3. Overall, I am convinced of the system. Come from a mirror reflex system, but I decided for this 4/3 system because of weight and size of the Micro. I can when I'm traveling by motorbike, the housing with the lens untrerbringen the purchased external flash in a small bag and still have a full equipment with me!
