The jars are made of glass and have a solid feel. The plastic part have a slightly cheap feel to them but seem to be sturdy. One strange thing Is that I only got one gasket for two jars. And it does not really stay in place while tightening the jars to the blades. And then the inner shape of the plastic around the blades is triangular leaving some space around there. The food gets stuck in the gaps and is difficult to dislodge. I do not understand the reason for this design. For the price, I guess the performance is otherwise fine.
