Positive:
- High-quality feel through special surface / coating
- Smaller gaps on the sides of the controller
- Stable pad (It takes at least two fingers to turn out or in the D-pad; thus it can not happen in the game that you twisted it accidentally.)
- Better directional pad (In games of Bethesda [Oblivion, Fallout] to make the really paid [weapons Jump])
- Analog sticks have a deeper entering an in the middle, bordered with a ring (not as usual with 4 studs). This significantly better stability
Negatives:
- As with so far all my Xbox controllers the directional pad down to work harder than any other way (I need more pressure)
- The analog sticks have a lower resistance than usual This is particularly difficult for shooters, because you have to get used again until first and much is forgiven ;-).
Neutral:
- The battery of the Play & Charge Kit holds shorter than normal batteries. However, one thus has the advantage that you need only connect the cable and can seamlessly continue playing while the battery is charging.
- The cable is 2.7 meters long and black (not as with other Play & Charge kit gray)
Conclusion:
At first I was a bit skeptical because I did incredibly difficult in games like Battlefield or Call of Duty with the new resistances of the analog sticks. After a certain period of acclimatization but the controller is really top. The high quality surface and the smaller gap dimensions of the controller filthy not as fast, the new directional pad responds better than the normal (although down is still difficult) and otherwise the device feels very solid on.
