In this book, the author pastiche 100 famous works, the titles and / or authors' names are turned into wordplay, puns, 'securities suitcases' (two famous titles merged into one), etc .. Each odd page, a photo-montage of the book pastiche, and vis-à-vis, on the even page, a brief explanation for understanding the 'gag' for those who have not already understood. I was attracted by the cover of the book, which includes good finds (Simenon: "But if," Melville "Cursed Bic" Marx: "And it goes again", etc.). There are other inside. But nevertheless I found it a little boring presentation: the explanations are superfluous if we understood the 'gag', and even if they are not they are a bit 'barbantes', like when you have not understood a joke and that strives to explain it to you: in the end, you understand, but the fact that we had to explain to you that there is much more funny. The photomontages are also a bit too repetitive: always the same hand (I guess the author) left holding the book of the same. There could have been staged more imaginative, or then simply consider not frame the book (not the hand that holds it). In fact I would have 4-5 stars if the book was made up of a collection of postcards with one side photomontage (just book without hand), and back, in very small, the real name of the author or original title of the work (without unnecessary didactic explanation). It would have been class, we could have displayed, etc. Finally here, it's still a nice gift for someone who loves to read well (and is therefore able to understand the gags without needing explanations!)
