Now in April came the rude awakening: After Joining the hose and reactivated the water connection, I noticed a strong water escaping from the grip of the shower. The adhesive, which is to hold together the two halves, obviously has a very short half-life. Will the defective part immediately lodge a complaint at Gardena since passed away less than a year.
Regarding function gabs (as long as the device was sealed) no reason to complain, everything worked as it should. If Gardena company here in the quality not nachbessert (eg by using an adhesive or better quality control), the unit is still not recommended, because you want it more than safe to use 3 months. Pay later nachposten here because of warranty or goodwill control by Fa. Gardena.
Addition:
The company Gardena has very quickly sent me a replacement unit free of charge. In this respect, exemplary company policy, no complaint. The covering letter was noted, however, that such damage could have arisen only by frost which in my opinion can not be the case because the shower was spent in the fall in the warm cellar. Since I had a few months ago a very similar damage to a hand shower of company Ideal Standard, which has never been exposed to demonstrably freezing temperatures, I'll take this case to the same thing: the glue used or the manufacturing process should not yet be fully developed. Gardena company should self-critical and open to check the manufacturing process. Now because of the very good company policy and the otherwise good feature I forgive 3 stars.
