The lens makes -Of the distance betrachtet- of the haptics forth also a very sophisticated look. When it but holding in his hand, it looks suspiciously easy. At this point you realize then what Tamron has saved among other things, to get to this unbeatable price.

Nevertheless I forgive 5 stars because the Tamron AF55-200mm provides excellent photographic results for a price of less than 100 euros. A bargain, if you can accept the above limitations. An alternative way, is the Sigma 55-200 / 4-5.6 DC, which is built a little more robust, but in my view not quite enough to the edge of the Tamron AF55-200 zoom.
