Pixtic - radio remote control- Camera Wireless Remote Trigger for SONY RM-S1AM A100 A200 A300 A450 A500 A700 A850 A900 etc
The Pixel Wireless Remote Trigger is processed properly and works with 2 standard AAA batteries in the transmitter and receiver.
The device operates in the 2.4 GHz band, it can be adjusted 16 different frequencies via DIP switch.
The scope of delivery is: transmitters, receivers, a 30cm long cable from the receiver to the camera as well as an operation Quick Start Guide in English.
The receiver can optionally be attached to the hot shoe, you can also let him runterbaumeln if the hot shoe is required elsewhere. Check or -Ausgeschaltet is the receiver with a 2sec. long press on the on-off button.
One shortcoming of the system is that both the button on the transmitter and the receiver's on-off button are executed sublime, that they protrude from the housing and can be pressed easily unintentionally so in the camera bag, which empties the batteries. To prevent this, I have each stuck a repurposed plastic sealing ring around the button.
The transmitter has 4 modes:
1. Single image
2. Continuous (approx 1Bild / sec.) As long as the button is pressed.
3. Bulb
4. Timer about 3sec.
The Bulb-mode only works when the camera is set to "Bulb" in manual mode. Then: 1stes pressing the shutter button = Start, 2nd press = end of the recording.
Further, the camera can also be triggered at the receiver. This also works without or with empty batteries, so there is still a function of a cable shutter release.
The high-speed continuous shutter mode my camera with 12 frames / s only works when you turn on the camera in burst mode and the remote control to "Bulb".
Then: 1stes pressing the shutter button = Start, 2nd press = end of continuous shooting.
The range I tested only in the house, where I can easily penetrate a reinforced concrete slab, so that the specified 100m outdoors appear realistic.
Overall, for the low price of 24.80 incl. Shipping highly recommended. The unit was shipped directly from China, the delivery time was good for 14 days.
