For use as I did (watch DVD movies on simple video player), I have no complaints. It is an open helmet so that we not cut the world. The cable length is long so no need extension (in my case). The only fault that could in the long and the integrated sound setting (it seems fragile) but I've settled once and for all.
I recommend it for a person who seeks an open and cheap headphones to watch TV (not HD).
I have not tried it on hi-fi.
