The package includes all necessary cables incl. Of the light guide. I use the adapter to an LG televisions with optical output. About the box it goes to the traditional stereo system. The sound is impeccable. The device is powered by a USB port on the TV. That it is small, I could easily attach it to the wall mount the TV with cable ties. So it remains completely inconspicuous.
