I use a water filter from BWT, which is why the filter cartridges from BWT course fit perfectly. The taste is filtered with the BWT Longlife Mg2 cartridges water really very good. However, I must say that I also with cheaper cartridges (eg ClaroSwiss) filtered water tastes good. Only in direct comparison to me maybe a difference would be noticed. The filter cartridges from BWT make any case exactly what they should. The filtered water is very clear, the kettle has for a month daily fill with filtered water no new traces of lime on. Especially at my tea, I notice that there are hardly any "Teeränder" in the cup here and no longer as a floating film on the surface. Compared to cheaper filter cartridges but the cartridges from BWT cost almost twice as much. In addition, the potential quantity filter with 120 l is rather low, even if the name "Long Life" promises another. I therefore recommend that the BWT Longlife Mg2 filter cartridges especially for people who are really very delicate in flavor and taste so subtle differences between the different products out well. For everyone else, I recommend rather a more favorable product, z. B. ClaroSwiss 30000003 filter cartridge Maxima Pack 3 installed. But I beg your attention that these filter cartridges not in the BWT water filter (model WF8900) fit, since this was designed so that the water then passes through unfiltered. However, since the filter cartridge of BWT is refillable, they can be filled with the granules of ClaroSwiss. Unfortunately I have not found a convenient alternative that fits well without such actions in the BWT filter.
