Gorgeous (movie) Music

The film Coraline has been filmed in stop-motion technique, and this fits perfectly to OST. The melodies are clear (the first title are lined with children's choirs and harp), acting partly ghostly, mysterious and definitely you get goosebumps. Like Coraline who is lured in the film in a parallel world / kidnapped, the handset goes on a journey to bizarre soundscapes, the deeper into each other squirm and devour. The melodies are unique and remain in your mind thanks to recurring motifs. In the song 'The Other Father Song' and 'Sirens of the Sea' sing even the characters from the film and give the whole thus an individual touch. I've seen the movie a few times and thanks to the OST I can put any time into the movie, which will shorten the wait for the DVD to me in any case.

Conclusion: This is a unique soundtrack, which you should have available as film lovers and definitely lay on the shelf.
