A movie musical masterpiece! But not for everyone!

The soundtrack of Planet of the Apes by Oscar winner Jerry Goldsmith is brilliant and composed with a lot of ingenuity. This soundtrack has been selected by the American Film Institute is not in vain in 18th place of the best soundtracks of all time. She is truly testimony of Goldsmiths genius.
But one of the few soundtracks were composed completely atonal. So for music professionals and professional women this film music is a sweet and highly recommended.
But if you are a beginner or more film music from it is to add itself harmonious, beautiful sounding film music and less standing on atonality, I would not suggest the purchase of film music. To these people I would not recommend it more with another Jerry Goldsmith soundtrack to try or to get to film music by John Williams, John Barry, Hans Zimmer and James Horner.
