The H2n is a so-called mobile recorder with excellent properties for Foley and interview recordings.
So the H2n features 5 built-in microphones in different adjustable stereo pair.
To select XY, MS, and a combination of XY + MS are as surround composite. In surround the XY and the MS signal are recorded as separate data.

The side signal can be amplified relative to the middle signal with a slider or reduced, there is also the possibility of MS take as Raw.
