The belt is woven through wide and on the inside with rubber threads, so it does not slip from the shoulder. The length of the strap is adjustable and for people between about 1.50 and about 1.90 cm in height to fit (other sizes may also go, that I could not try).
The wide, stable zip hooked and not jammed. Both sliders have wide metal straps that can also operate without looking. Because the lid is held with Velcro, one could also leave the zipper open to get at the bag content even faster.
The inside pocket is on all sides (front, back, left, right, bottom) padding. The two padded inner dividers are individually adjustable (velcro). An Olympus E-M5, E-P3 or Panasonic G3 with two additional lenses fit into it easily, then up even more air. A Canon 5D with lens also adjusts.
At the back there is a with a small velcro in the middle, in which for example a notebook or mobile phone can store. Very close to not let this bag however. The two small front pockets are indeed covered by the lid, but can not be close. There is thus no closable pocket for memory cards and similar small parts. In practice, I find that very disturbing.
The bag looks great and feels very pleasant - no comparison with the usual plastic camera bags. She is a little too big (the F-5XB is just right, but unfortunately at the sides not padded) but still acceptable for a take-along bag. The lack closable pocket for small parts is really annoying and leads to a star deduction.
