But the Hama Remote itself makes a good impression. It works quite well despite the cheap plastic looks stable, the buttons have good pressure points and radius such as range of the infrared transmitter is ok.
Klarer "Star" is in my eyes but the infrared receiver - a small USB adapter of just 4-5 cm length, which is plugged in without attracting large one of the two USB ports on the PS3. Since the PS3 otherwise only via radio (Bluetooth) can be driven, these adapters for good and quibble infrared receiver makes.
The use of a remote control instead of a (wireless) gamepads has several advantages:
(1) For BD / DVD remote control a classic one is simply much more used as a gamepad. The operation is simple and automatic by hand.
(2) The gamepad can be left so that its batteries are protected. When you play you sit thus not equal high and dry and need to charge.
(3) The off / on the game pad is omitted to save either battery power or him after the (automatic) shutdown again. At least I was the visibly annoyed.
(4) The "Spielkind effect" is immense, if you can be happy about it, to control the PS3 now has a remote control. ;-)
CONCLUSION: At the price of (in my case) just 9, - Euro (incl. Shipping) is the Hama Remote included infrared receiver an absolutely worthwhile purchase. I highly recommend the combination to anyone who frequently uses his PS3 for BD / DVD Check.
