In F1 2001 by Sony, the player has the opportunity to re-enact the current season. In particular, the graphics are very well done, especially the track environments with their special properties such as the Ferris wheel at Suzuka. The drivers wear their real names and driving in the right car. Even otherwise, there was no skimping on the smallest Deitail. The steering wheels agree completely agree with the right. Particularly motivating is the WM - mode in which you have to ride on all 17 routes. A positive feature is here that you can save at any time, what you're not used to from other games of this genre. The other game modes like "Quick Race" are not as motivating. They are rather in between for a little game. The only complaint I have the camera angles: The cockpit view is actually rather the point of view of a standing rider, which can, however, get over, because this view is also incredibly rich in detail. However, since the ride is quite realistic beginners should rather rely on the beginner-friendly PS1 version. But every player with some racing game experience makes this racer nothing wrong.
