The unit fits comfortably in your hand and feels dibasic. For the hands of an adult of the 3DS XL is not available but in the long run is still too small, which may well lead to pain or cramps. Still, it's fun to play with. Also this is my first 3D experience at home. Since it is already installed and I need no special glasses for it I take the feature but with love. And it is impressive. Thus, the game worlds to feel good and you can adjust the 3D effect continuously or turn them off. I will make them even heavy use. Because often I simply do not feel like 3D.
Here a "pro, neutral and Contra" overview:
+ Processing
+ Pleasant and stable software (operating system)
+ "Stand by" easily and at any time by simply close the device
+ Stereo speakers with good sound
+ OLED display; saves energy and black is really black
+ 3D + optional continuously variable
+ Support SD cards up to 32GB
+ Informative, multicolored status lights (LEDs)
+ Large games library. You can choose between game cartridges / cartridges or downloadable games in the Nintendo eShop
By cross bolts to replace + easy opening of the casing around the battery.
o Circle Pad is no analog stick, but so far worked satisfactorily.
o volume of the speakers and the headphone output quite low. This can be a problem if you are traveling and not hear from the game, but has health benefits if you use headphones / earphones. Thus, no child (or adult) can damage due to high volumes hearing.
o resistive touch screen responds only to pressure. Thus you have a stylus or fingernail use to make entries reasonable. You can also press, but fingers are usually too big for the appropriate input surfaces. A capacitive touch screen, such as in the PS Vita, works with your fingers (this one needs there but special stylus pens as normal will not work!)
- No longer timely resolution of the display (. 400x240 for each eye above 320x240 the touch screen is changed down there hopefully something for the next generation of Nintendo handhelds course high resolution need appropriate computing power..)
- Power supply is not supplied as standard in Europe!
My recommendation to all those who are currently looking for a Nintendo handheld!
