I have a ceiling light with 4 spotlights the 33 watt halogen lamps (making a total of 132 watts) are replaced by these 2 Watt LED lights (ie a total of 8 watts, which are only 6% of the original capacity). The result may well inspire. The LED lights are really ultra compact and only slightly larger than the halogen bulbs. In order for this LED lamps should be suitable for 90% of all lights. The light is not so yellow, like the halogen bulbs, but white, with a touch of "green". At first glance, perhaps a bit disturbing, but in my opinion, still okay. The brightness is estimated at 60 ... 70% of original brightness, which is no problem in my case, because the four 33 watt halogen lights were actually too bright. I suppose that these 2 Watt LED lamps are an adequate substitute for 15 ... 20 watt halogen lamps. About the durability within the meaning of "life" I can make no statement at this time. My expectation is that these LED lights the next 4 ... 6 years properly function (ceiling light in the hall, which is turned on only in the evening actually from time to time). Presumably, the lamp will be turned on more often and for longer in the future due to the significantly lower energy consumption.
