Some years ago I had ever seen a Krups; good experience look different. My last fully automatic I have with this Krups now after 4 years in retirement sent (AEG CS 5200). The key for me was that the machine is as small as possible and as stylish as possible. And it's both really. In addition an almost unbeatable price - for under 300 euros, most machines are not eye-catching.
Amazon's service is legendary, and so it was not surprising that I ordered the machine in the evening and received the next day.
The Krups is, I think, a piece of jewelry, but discreetly. And she's so small that you'd think it would be missing something. The closed principle seems well thought out and intuitive operation; that the brewing unit can not be seen, do not bother me really. In my AEG they had the - removed - and I have taken out very rarely and always wondered whether this is due to ever since. The Krups is quieter than my old AEG, both during the milling process and the preparation of coffee, very good taste, moreover, a good crema has and also at medium setting is pleasantly hot.
Since I use by PEARL Unimax filtered water, I renounce gladly the Krups Water Filter, which I think is a costly and superfluous matter; In addition, they are almost too big for this small Krups: they only fit in millimetric Friemelei into the water tank, the single for my taste "weakness" of Krups. The lid or what you think it is a fragile plastic structures. Why not something similar used here as in the bean container is incomprehensible to me.
Other weaknesses I have been unable to discover. And that relatively fewer refills of water, dispose of coffee grounds and drip container must empty, is the smallness of the Krups justified and is therefore no reason this machine to dislike or to insult even, as you have to repeatedly read here.
Undecided long-term experience I can recommend buying this Krups at a price of under 300 warmly.
