Here tastes meet

Monster Magnet is known to be a band that is often put in drawers. Here one hears times Hawkwind- / Sabbath / Zep's successor, so distinct 70s bond, then earthy-snotty stoner rock à la Kyuss, so children of their actual time of origin, then times psychedelic, which in turn would be the late 60's. I think all of that is true. Monster Magnet truly unify many styles, much hearsay, though extracted. Nevertheless Monster Magnet are their own invention, none of this affects their plates copied-even the cover versions have more than significant MM stamp. The musical experimentation joys (and other delights) can be heard on every album, because that's the concept, there has never been at a standstill MM.

Dopes To Infinity is to be regarded with certainty as a whole as a masterpiece of MM. Had MM started her career about 1967 they had made history in the world of fame format because they are just such innovative artists and at those times the audience was eager (perhaps even more demanding); Unfortunately it had MM then their main time to guitar bands with specific beauty + be-depri-is-cool image heavy and never got up this attention, which actually would be entitled.

Every true rockers, young or old, raves about the psychedelic / hard rock phase of the forefathers of 1967-1975 - with MM we did get back from '89 and Dopes To Infinity tells us that the old spirit lives on, only with a new look. An absolute must in every good collection!
