When ticks - I am pleased that (sorry).
What about ... earthworms? Butterflies?
I can read to nothing!
But the fact is:
Insects take poison - the chrysanthemum - on the body surface. It is then distributed in the insect's body. The neurotoxin causes no longer include the Na + channels of nerve cells. Na + ions flow freely into the cell interior. It comes to uncontrollable nerve impulses. The insect is quickly incapacitated. Death occurs after some time.
And a poison does not distinguish between good and harmful insects.
Furthermore there is nothing to read - and that's messed up, love company Neudorff!
*
Secondly:
The smallest concentrations already lead to death of the insect.
But this means that the poison is not poured by Gieskanne in the garden, but at best sprayed with a distributor.
Because, see, first: It's an all-killer.
*
Thirdly:
When I read the safety data sheet according to 1907/2006 Regulation (EC) at igefa.de properly consists of content to 0.5% of pyrethrins and 99.5% of water.
What is so expensive at water - do not open up to me.
Why is it called concentrate - not open up to me.
Why the 99.5 -% - water-concentrate is not sold as a real concentrate - also nciht.
Obviously, there must already be diluted (500 ml = 50 liters = 500 square meters).
*
A comparable product on a chemical basis (permethrin)
(Insectkill 3000) (check with igefa.de: 0.25% permethrin, 0.75% emulsifiers, 99% water)
costs with just over 15 euros (2011) to 500 ml comparable much.
Overall, however, seems this type drugs (of course: pyrethrins, chemically: Permethrin) to be no alternative.

I'm not a chemist, not a biologist.
I want to get rid of the ticks in my garden.
Nevertheless, you can get as a consumer feel that the company Neudorff something sold, of which one does not really know what that is actually - and why the water is so expensive - if it is to be diluted in any case again by a factor of 10 ,

What to do ?: Buy - here based on natural ingredients?
Keep your eyes on until there are better what?
Think mainly because: It's an all-killer. From Earthworm until Butterfly!
Perhaps there only spray where ticks were seen / be.
