Karel Gott - who does not know? This CD includes 16 hits of the golden voice of Prague. Especially nice is the opener "Never again Bolero", the German version of "No More Bolero" as is "Babicka" (Czech: mother) a very nice hit in typical Ralph Seal Sound. Not so great I think "These are the best years", which has a bizarre, discordant melody, the low point of the CD. But other than that all the songs are very good. "You are to me like the sun in the morning," a 1989 hit, invites you to sing along and clap along and is nicely done. The remix of "Maya the Bee" is also managed. Good is also the song "Now you're there" (1983), which has a great guitar accompaniment, and the ravishingly beautiful duet with Darinka "Catch the light", that really everyone should know. This album is highly recommended.
