Customer Review

... And the only thing on which he has really done everything alone. Better than the debut "For You" [1978] It is definitely, but he had not yet found so completely to his distinctive style. Nevertheless, it quite a few wonderful pieces. The dry funk of "I Wanna Be Your Lover" attracts even today, and "Why You Wanna Treat Me So Bad" shows (at least from my perspective) Lenny Kravitz where the rubber meets the road, apologize in advance, so to speak, since 1979 knew yes no man Lenny Kravitz. "I Feel For You" was a hit for Chaka Khan. Also worth mentioning: Both Petting ballads "It's Gonna Be Lonely" and "When We're Dancing Close And Slow" - not as body fluids-oriented as future exercises of this nature, aimed more at Blur-romance, but are nice. Prince sings on this album from the first to the last note falsetto. This is perhaps used to, but so was nunmal. Only on "Dirty Mind" [1980] he began to gradually move away from it. Good plate!
