A mature second album of "shooting stars"

Having already very good debut of the Cologne duo were my expectations for the second album particularly high. Was mainly known as that this should occur in the music mecca Nashville.
What can I say ... I was not disappointed. On The Contrary!

The songs are by the bank very catchy and varied. Positive texts with childlike charm and dreamy fairytale metaphors. The subtle humor gives an idea of ​​a healthy dose of self-irony. In the second or third listening can be seen but quickly realize that the words are chosen wisely. Country charm away from the "pickup truck and beer" clichés. Like that.
The arrangements are trendy and compact and the voices of the protagonists will probably have rarely sounded better and more harmonious.
The sound of the album is natural and organic. You can clearly hear the atmosphere of the live recording in the studio. Here sounds rundgelutscht or overproduced nothing. The many small instrumental parts to discover in the stereo is a real experience.
What comes out of the speakers here, needs no comparison with international productions of the genre to be afraid.
