The curse of the second album?

As other reviewers here I am still enthusiastic about the July debut album. The music is relatively unobtrusive, but she manages, to put the beautiful texts that are the outstanding feature of this album for me off in.

With the new single in July are now gone from my feeling exactly in the wrong direction: bombastic sound and insignificant text. Sorry, I've really tried, "nice to listen" to me the song, but I can not. All the more surprised I was when I was reading at the July website that the band with this title awful lot and connect it meant a lot to her. With the Video's is a little more bearable, but this of course is only the visual implementation.

I can only hope that in July are not connected with the curse of the second album, which has already overtaken so many young hopefuls. All energy, every feeling flows into the first plate, and then the great nothingness opens up. In addition, the success of the "everyday" completely overthrows and devours the time for creative work. Everything is said, new songs are often little more than expressions of old titles.

I can only wish that July this fate spared, and therefore look with great anticipation to the second album to me.

The wailing about the lousy quality of singles in Germany, I can only agree with the way. Apparently serve this country only the rip-off of "early adopters" and ardent fans who want to hear the latest work it out immediately. I was often enough to this group, but now have my habit.
