First of all I must mention that this is my first hand blender that I have ever used. However, I was really currently looking for a mixer that prepared me for example smoothies. My old blender was unfortunately a few weeks before the ghost: '(between I took a time a man who, however, brought only 300 Watts Of course, I could foresee no use for the pure wattage, so I just took him in the offer times. . At home there was the big disappointment. I wanted to make a delicious smoothie made from apples, raspberries and bananas and what? He did not even come clear with the apples. As much as I shook, the apples were not small. Disappointing . The blender was returned just the next day, and the search began again. So the product test came at exactly the right time and I am happy to me totally imagine this madness-mixer from Bosch Bosch probably everyone knows the brand and I for my part must say that I have always been very satisfied with Bosch products.
So point 1: Bosch is a very favorable response and familiar brand for me. I am curious what the Mixer has everything on it.
But now the product itself!
The first impressions mainly concern the design, functional design, instructions etc .:
The design tells me personally absolutely. The mixer itself and the accessories are kept in silver / chrome and black and have a pleasing shape. The cups are transparent and made of sturdy plastic. The packaging (as a figurehead at the store) I find successful and appealing. But unfortunately you do not have enough offers detailed information on the product benefits actually a must as every buyer of a high quality personal technical object already requested the relevant information on the packaging.
Point 2: The hand blender looks great, but the information on the packaging are rather sparse! However, the pictures on the packaging are self-explanatory.
The hand blender weighs a bit, but is as good ergonomically in the hand, that the weight is hardly noticeable. Even when pureeing fruit etc. where you have to spend time a little more strength, the weight no longer falls on or is awkward to handle in any way.
The manual (s) I find also very good. You will not make you fat, but reduced to the bare minimum. The manual is pleasantly kept short and concise and written in 2 languages (English and German). A feature particularly worthy the leaflet as Erstseite the instructions. It is to be brought home clearly by the handling of the mixer to the cleaning to a photo guide of all the relevant to-dos and not-to-dos. You can even as a hand blender newbie (like me) to cope with the Bosch MaxoMixx right away, without having read a single word of the instructions.
Point 3: High praise for the guidance! So all instructions for technical equipment should be.
After the first impressions comes naturally more decisive real test phase of the mixer, which included 2-3 weeks. My testimony about the three weeks to tap the important from my point of view features and characteristics of a mixer and accessories. I want to start with the most important from my point of view:
What is the mix result?
Since I have most been looking forward, I of course started with a fruit smoothie. I prepared my fruit blender court (peeling, cutting, into the pot).
Then mix attachment on the mixer and off we went. With 750 watts the MaxoMixx häckselte by my fruit, of course, not without a little noise on it's own to :)) My husband called out from next door if I had ordered a lawnmower ^^ But ratzfatz after not even 1-2 minutes my fruit was smashed, another yogurt or milk to it and finished my first smoothie. I was excited.
That it really inconceivable just going to crush fruit so so without remaining pieces, I would never have believed. My old blender has never managed this without remaining pieces and here I now have real Mus: D Simply brilliant. Since then, I'm very very regular smoothies, simply because I'm too lazy to eat the fruit and smoothies are so easy soooo delicious I am also pregnant at the time, of course, is even better, fill in so delicious, the vitamin depots ;)
And even later, when the baby is gone shopping, I will can do the blender very good for applesauce, etc.. Homemade is anyway much better and healthier than the purchased glasses with preservatives etc.
Even as I once cooked mashed potatoes / mashed potatoes, there was nothing to complain about. The potato is super creamy and really delicious.
Who needs the already packaged stuff from the supermarket?
Point 4: The results are simply ingenious. I give the blender ago never.
Finally, I would like to address the question as the last item:
What about the cleaning and care of the mixer?
The jug and accessories is fully washable in the dishwasher. So far there has been sufficient to prepare immediately after pureeing or smoothie rinse the mixer attachment under warm water. There was absolutely nothing and was hanging like new again. Should it nevertheless times einkrusten after prolonged standing, the dishwasher also helps wonderfully. Especially with the Pürier attachment for the mashed potatoes where still a little something got stuck. But since you can easily remove the screw, these items are super clean.
Point 5: The cleaning and care is especially very easy and also seems extremely thoroughly / to be gerätzuträglich.
Finally, I would like to mention an important thing, you call it point 6, if you like, or the word on Sunday of this review. The original price of MaxoMixx is average for each earning alright! Personally, I find the value for money very good and can not imagine a better mixer. An important factor would be the longevity and processing of the device, but in the test period of three weeks I personally can not be judged legitimate. If Bosch an indestructible machine have created that 5+ years was able to complete his regular service then this would be a (kitchen) dream: D
