How did people do before? 2

Always handy in the studio, today is the tool used most.
And when I think of the time I lost to some crafts or cuts before purchasing this device ...

Initially, I had no particular preference for this model but the use, I can not do without the "quick change". If it's over, I always will opt for this feature.

As to the availability and quality of the accessories, it is true that I struggled at first, but not anymore. The accessories brand B & D (or rather Piranha) are of excellent quality and are not available everywhere. But I learned that the company that owns this brand also markets the Dewalt brand for professional and accessories are interchangeable. And there, in terms of quality, there is no photo ...
Since, I buy Dewalt blades for some work as the metal cutting. They even have studded blades for wood where the teeth do not jump at the first use.

Alternatively, for a more general use, there purchase on the Internet: a huge selection, prices more than reasonable and strange thing: no Chinese. US or Canadian sites and among other excellent Canadian seller (multifitblades ...) which offers quality accessories (I tested!) Batch of 3, 5 or 10 where the unit amounts to just 3 euros.

As for the disadvantages, there are some of them: annoying but certainly not insurmountable:
First, with use, the device is loud. It is certainly not unbearable, but annoying nonetheless.

Then head enormously warm. If unfortunately your fingers glide over the head, you have the unpleasant burning sensation. it would have been wise to propose a removable handle (as grinders or the Bosch model for example), both, facilitate grasping for some work and get around the problem of heating the head.

And last drawback, by design of the device (oscillation), in case of cutting, sometimes the machine hangs from a certain depth (depending on the blade used). This can be addressed by a process of successive removal of material but we would still like to use the blade to the hilt of the device and this is not the case.

In summary: excellent camera, rendered immense service and I recommend without hesitation.
