Hardware: Mainboard, 4GByte RAM (2 x Corsair VS2GB1333D3), Intel Core i3-3220T, SSD 120GB (Corsair CSSD-F120GBLS), housing M350 of Minibox, Hama MCE Remote Control, PicoPSU-90, Leicke PSU 12V / 5A. The power consumption of the complete unit is under normal conditions at about 35 watts.
The assembly was a bit tricky, since the housing but is very small. The housing Cable for Power button and LED I had to extend something. As seen from the front of the processor fan is seated left, I have the drive tray with the SSD mounted on the right side. The speed of the fan I have reduced in BIOS to level 3. The processor comes with it in idle to just under 28 degrees Celsius. The IR receiver I have stuck to Shorten the cable directly to the USB connector. It can thus be plugged directly into the rear of the front USB housing and disappears behind the front panel. Allows the recipient of something 'sees', I cut out a small piece in the middle of the front panel and closed from behind with a red filter disc.
In this way I built this small motherboard mini-PC, which is good enough for office applications. I use it in conjunction with the Windows 7 Media Center to play TV recordings that are stored on external network drives.
