not least because I was a child radio recorder had (aka Ghetto Blaster Boombox aka) a thick Telefunken, is me the TDK T78532 caught your eye.
The existing reviews have made me skeptical, but ultimately the unreasonableness has then won anyway, and I have ordered the unit.
After just over a week now, I have now a first impression. - This, however, turns out quite ambiguous, so I do not know yet if I'll keep the TDK T78532, or not.
To my expectations:
1. I can live without remote control
2. without iPad / Ipod / egg Weissnicht- come connection I also clearly
3. that the device no radio playback devices (eg PC via WLAN, phone via Bluetooth, ...) can be quite a shame! For the price it would have in 2011 or 2012. (or when was the launch) there are surely can
4. USB Support to 32GB
5. very bass-heavy sound
6. glossy front - the biggest drawback for me
To what I got:
@ 1. - 3 .: Actual / was just as I expected it
@ 4 .: Unfortunately, the device does not recognize a lot of USB sticks. In particular, all Micro-USB sticks, which I have (2GB - 8GB) are not recognized.
Before I joined them, I have all the sticks, as it says in the manual, FAT32 formatted. All sticks are working properly in my car radio. - This is a pity, because a small USB stick would not stand out and that's what I want to run on TDK T78532. - I hope, I still find a maximum of 10mm long 32GB USB flash drive, the device supports ... (If someone has a tip, please comment here!)
@ 5: bassy? - Well ...
As noted in other reviews, the sound is more "middle-stressed" (actually low-midrange). The equalizer has almost no effect and the sound has little real power in the bass range. For the TDK T78532 is quite loud when it, which is quite OK "must" for as' ne sound box.
By now I've gotten used to the sound. At first I wanted to send the part directly, because I did not like the sound. Old analog recordings, so the neutral level sound pretty "lean". For Acoustic or classical music you should definitely seek another "terminal" because otherwise you will be rather disappointed.
However: In the Ghetto (probably) is the "Ouverture solennelle 1812" by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky also rarely played ... ->
My conclusion for Sound: Go as "background music" fine and served its purpose. So there is no reason not to buy the device.
@ 6: Regarding the appearance, are the newer TDK's matte not pretty. I, for my part, am, I should not send back the TDK T78532, leave the protective film as long as possible to it. It makes the front a bit dull, so it looks much more pleasant for me.
Thanks to the "touch operation", the device will probably look noticeably greasy, the film takes some getting settled.
And otherwise?
"Kriegsentscheident" for me is whether I get the (FM) radio more neatly into operation. Thanks to the dam *** (-eidenen) wire antenna noise at me all the channels so much that I do not want to hear.
The conclusion:
The TDK T78532 fulfilled what optics and haptics terms definitely my expectations. The unit makes a good impression. The carrying handle is, contrary to other statements, obviously made of metal, the processing works "OK"!
Except for the lack of "radio link" to music players the equipment to what I expect equivalent.
The sound is, contrary to what might have been expected due to the weight, a bit meager. The case would have a min. 5cm larger bass (subwoofer) approved. This would have been the bass punch safe beneficial.
Pros: Since the case is "close", there is no bass or similar, "bollert- and bubbles" not the TDK T78532 all too much!
Desöfteren one reads that the TDK T78532 partially distorted. My device is not currently doing so, however, would not be surprised if the "comic" mid-high chassis (== midrange tweeter with glued) would be responsible for it.
The midrange diaphragm moves inside "on the tweeter". - For me, this screams for 'nem potential errors.
(This is stupid, especially since the case had enough space to accommodate two treble loudspeakers in addition to the two mid ... - By the way: The "new" TDK's have now treble and midrange speakers separately (this has reasons ?!. ; ->))
Would not the abysmal FM reception, I would certainly recommend the TDK T78532 as "retro radio-recorder".
For me: The TDK T78532 has the "Do-Will-factor" clearly posted. I get FM reception even under control, the device, otherwise (* sorry *) remains gets Amazon unfortunately 'ne returns.
I also hope that the "comic Speaker" (mid-high in a housing, not "hermetically separated") do not give up in the medium term. Spare parts are no longer safe to be get when the parts only times "scratch" ...
=> The device is for me a resounding "maybe", three star!
In this sense ...

PS: I too have, at the firmware update, the T78532 "todgeflasht". The unit seemed to have eventually no longer recognized the USB flash drive. Thanks to a guide that I found on the net, but I have revived it.
=> Should anyone 'nen dead TDK T78532 have at home: Comment including e-mail address here, then send.' I the guide on how to "revive" the equipment ...; ->
P ^ 2.S .: Addendum
Resent I have the power, ultimately, because not even the (FM) radio worked ...
Too bad, because I think that the TDK T78532 an amazing image device. At the mediocre sound I got used. However, it was the "noise-free radio listening," the bare minimum, which would have had to make the device ...
I attach another photo showing where "my T78532" should be ... ;-)
