I have a mobile phone with Bluetooth but both my computers do not have this feature.
To transfer some files by connecting USB phone to my PC, ringtones do not appear in the browser so that I could not copy them.
Only solution: a Bluetooth adapter.
I chose to model Belkin F8T016NG (by chance but by counting the brand reputation) and I am really satisfied.
The blister contains a mini-adapter and also the installation CD with WIDCOMM Bluetooth Software.
Before inserting the object into a USB port, I put the CD and install the software (you must insert it when it says "no device found").
Under XP this is the version that installs Widcomm 5.5.0.3200 (I for one little problem and I had to "explore" the CD and start the installation from the Setup.exe contained files in the Windows folder).
Under Vista, not the least problem is the version 6.0.1.6300 Widcomm (Broadcom corp.) That installs.
For those who are under Seven I do not know if the supplied CD is compatible. Maybe he should download Version 6.3.0.200 dernère (BluetoothBTW.exe SetupBtwDownloadSE.exe file) at: [...]
Anyway, I do not regret this adapter.
A real pleasure to share (in both directions) my phone and my ordis.
I recommend it.
Received quickly and well packaged.
Again thank you to Amazon.com
