I will not read on!

I was very disappointed in reading this "novel" I even left in a bed & breakfast on vacation, I who hate to share my books! My disappointment stems from the fact that in my view, the author has not gone after his choice: it is far (very far) from being Sade and overall, I agree with critics who rank this book in the category of those with household under 50 years of hurt feelings. The style is not good - amateurs / amateur literature, go your way - and the story itself is not convincing because the main male character, Grey, is SM but not much. It is not too overbearing; it hurts but not too much; it's a bastard but not too much; immoral but still a little moral. In short, the emotional dependency on and domination, emotional, sentimental is not at all well described. Even the "love" scenes did not seem well written me and after two, we know how all will end. So I do not quite see where the author is coming with history: an ingenue who yields to a slightly deranged guy? An addictive story between a man and a woman? The urge to tell Salassi things but not too! I do not know but in any case, I will not buy later because I do not like this kind of station literature (in the airport concerned me) who is a true commercial success but a literary void . For those who want to read the powerful things about the reports of violence and domination between a man and a woman (in both directions elsewhere) without the sex scenes that do not add much here, I advise rather "Husband and wife" of an Israeli writer, Zeruya Shalev. For a very sensual novel but extremely well written and constructed the literary plane around a beautiful story, I would advise the head of Indian work "Far from Chandigarh".
