Impressive clock

After prolonged Browse among the many watches in the Amazon store and after div. Internet searches now I bought this Seiko 5. I wanted a simple clock with clear head-dial, date display and for a change, an automatic. When unpacking, I was over the deep blue dial and the very well readable marks or pointers very pleased. The clock comes with a detailed manual, after I set the date and day. You can see the weekdays in German or English Select (!), The weekdays in black, blue, Saturday and Sunday appear red wird- therefore very clear and clear. Then I shortened the metal strip, which can be relatively easily accomplished with a fine-tipped pen.
Gangenauigkeit: I've read about all sorts of mechanical watches and therefore did not have high expectations in terms of precision. Now, after a week everyday use I can say that this Seiko per day to approximately 4 seconds and goes kind of a mechanical clock, a highly satisfactory value! Experts say that to stabilize the final accuracy after about 3 months until all moving parts have been run.
As a small disadvantage I find the relatively high housing (11 mm). If you're used to flat quartz watches, falling on this, but while wearing it does not bother. The size plus for me is the very clear-read dial and the totally non-reflective glass. There are no situations in which you could read the time bad.
You get a lot of quality and a lot of clock for his money. This Seiko I can recommend you with a clear conscience!

Addendum: As my Citizen, I have now also this Seiko 5 readjusted under the microscope in the finest increments. The accuracy is almost unbelievable for a Mechanical. In the cold winter months, it is a week about 1-3 sec gone before (!). Now in the warmer time she runs for something. When Daylight Savings Time, I have asked the last time exactly, today, two weeks later, she is 15 seconds late. I am more than satisfied with this result and will not change this setting. I have several watches, but I usually wear this Seiko 5 because is so clear is read and it is very comfortable.
