In a world of blind ...

In this novel, there is no name of a city or country, or characters. Like Intermittences death. Even if it comes well after blindness, construction is relatively the same (that'll teach me to read in the mess!). The characters do not have names, either. These are "the doctor", "the doctor's wife", "blind First Prev", "the wife of the first blind man," "the old banner", "the girl with sunglasses" and "squinting boy."
When the first blind stop driving rush hour, he does not know that it will be at the origin (is it really the first) to fall blind and contaminate all the others. We do not know how or why. Lest the government locks them first "sick" in an old asylum. Everyone is blind in contact with the blind, except one: the doctor's wife, the only person to have living eyes throughout this epidemic.
