A spacecraft approaching Earth and it is not ours. We rush to see and found an empty vessel. Elucubrations, assumptions of all kinds, etc. etc. In short you get bored of it all.
In the end it's very disappointing, this author, Arthur C. Clarke, never for me was a real copyright SF intrigues. Avoid.
