"Down For The Count" is the musical style of its predecessor, "In Rock We Trust" (the live album "Open Fire" not included) continues, it will offer mainstream rock of the time typical US. It goes very well with los `In the name of Rock '. This song is a good opener and could have been set to "Mean Streak". Then two commercialism numbers come with `All American boy` and` Anytime at all`, me they are too soft and the keyboards urge the guitar in the background. `Anything for money` are properly gas, although now is not the hammer, but it is officially rocked. `Face is like angel` a melodic track, quite nice. `Summertime Girls' we already knew from the live album" Open Fire "and is an inconsequential pop song (but was a hit in the US). `Looks like trouble` is a mid-tempo rocker, good solo, like me. `YOurMAMA don`t dance` is also a commercialism number, but again good solo by Dave Meniketti. For rock `Don`t tell me what to wear`, a highlight of the album. `Hands of Time 'is a beautiful power ballad, but the band has a knack.
"Down For The Count" is not convincing throughout. There are some pop Nümmerchen at the start that did not like me. The musical style of the albums "Earthquake" (1981), "Black Tiger" (1982) and "Mean Streak" (1983) has tasted me more. Denoch eg are with `In the name of Rock 'and' Hands Of Time also good numbers at the start, so the bottom line is 3 stars to represent.
