In the violence of the Demon

The adults without country (Paperback)

Customer Review

Between a violent, alcoholic father, who spends his days sprawled on the sofa, and a mom who cashes his repeated strokes and those he has for his children by reducing mush their young tender hearts and transforming their lives ruined Slimane , from a height of eleven, only dreams of one thing, running away with his big brother Maxence at Country Adults without which the sun illuminates the lives and kills the darkness that covers them.

This book is simply beautiful! Slimane, with his words that grips your heart tells us how difficult it is for a child to protect themselves from the madness of adults. All that remains to do is to find coping strategies that led him to take shelter (through the power of dreams) in a better world, where the multicolored sun is a great laugh. A moving and bright novel both!
