Operation:
Once installed everything works perfectly. Confusing can only be that on Windows 7, the connection does not appear as a wireless connection with the usual signal strength icon in the taskbar, but as a "normal" LAN connection. For information on signal strength and transfer rate previously installed application must be opened. But in itself no big deal because this starts the same at start and can also be found in the taskbar next to the clock.
Useful:
Apart from the actual WLAN stick is still a USB extension with terminal station for the WLAN stick supplied. This enables variable placement of the sticks, if the signal strength under the desk should be too bad. Helpful this is a function of the installed software that performs a continuous test the signal strength and you can see so beautiful, where the best place for installation is the sticks.
Conclusion:
Good and relatively cheap wireless stick of problems working with the Fritz box. The transmission speed is up to me by 3-4 walls and about 20m in the house still in good 54 Mbit per second.
