Eternal Sonata is a good game, you can say so. The graphics are sometimes impressive, the characters are, Far Eastern and childish voices and the setting for the dying Chopin provides some variety.
For the top among the role-playing games, it is not enough. Especially because the game is basically a single, giant hose. Free decisions there is virtually no hit to the development abilities of the characters are extremely limited and can not be influenced. There is not even a map of the world, as in many other "classic" RPGs. Man knocking on a place after another and sometimes has the feeling of being a privileged, buttons oppressive spectators.
Said press buttons in the fight itself certainly is fun, mainly due to the action-packed combat system, and the characters who play partly extremely different. However, I have the feeling that the individual skills are hardly balanced, makes the game a special phased ridiculously easy.
All in all a good game with a good story, but also significant limitations in the freedom of the player. For every Far Eastern RPG fan still highly recommended.
