Who lays beside the optics still value quality, should perhaps reconsider the purchase. The processing of the material, especially on the side edges is not clean. There simply is cheap plastic. The "Willy" has a rubber coating, which in some places but looks tired - but you can turn him / position that the "nice" side is up - the phrase sounds a little more than ambiguous, but was not my intention :) The shade is made of a different material and seems durable.
A light bulb is by the way not included. Once this is concerned, however, and screwed the lamp gives a pleasant, slightly dimmed acting, light.
If one includes the cheap workmanship and poor quality, the lamp is definitely not their monetary value. It seemed to me in this case, but only on the optics, and for this you pay in this case, the expensive price.
The lamp is far behind on my bedside table, the enumerated defects therefore fall on in my case. My sister has the same lamp. However, in her it is central in the study and because they can be considered as better, the cheap quality often falls on. To give the edge but only as short info, if you plan it to someone, etc.
