Since these problems are both here, as elsewhere described in the Internet, I do not believe in a "Monday device" but rather to a fundamental problem. Therefore I have given despite a friendly mail from Inateck the device back and brought me an adapter from another manufacturer. This has in all PCs with all hard drives to USB 3.0 ports to function properly, the SMART values of the inserted hard disk could always be represented.
Due to the immediate mail from Inateck and operate at USB 2.0 ports I forgive 2 instead of just one star.
