I will not judge the musical quality of this device. Indeed, in my installation, it is connected to a sound bar Yamaha YAS-101, which is not the panacea for optimum music reproduction. By cons it is very convenient to connect an iDevice on this bar which has only digital audio inputs. The connector is also compatible with all iDevices without changing anything (no need to change the adapter to an iPhone or iPod nano). One can shuttering an iPad but not perfectly stable, it can only be occasionally. Please note, the i-20 is not compatible with the iPod 5th generation (video) and earlier. I just regret, i-20 provides a component video output and no HDMI output. This will allow to look, for example, a video clip with sound and visual reproduction of very good quality, too bad. Other than that, great product.
