What we have here really: Certainly not a band that the music has reinvented. But that's not necessary. There are more than a handful of bands that are successful with hackneyed 0815 music, rightly or wrongly. If you try to compare WT with other bands, so you get with this album a mix of Kate Bush, Doro and (one must simply mention) Nightwish. Nevertheless, the result is more than the sum of the individual parts. There schonmal a big plus.
Gothic rock (if you want to refer to it as such) has unfortunately always something textually to kitsch to outbid the kitsch, and are certainly songs like no "The Promise". But again: the ratio has to be right. The music is often monotonous, everything is well produced; Voice, band and orchestral arrangements are in good to very good agreement.
The songs are without exception in his ear, even if it is on the day the Constitution of the listener, if he just wants to the extremely high vocals.
All in all a pretty good album that is good both for the way heard, as well as for closer listening. What I would have liked would be one or the other song with a little more "drive". On the other hand, is the autumn just around the corner, and what could be better than sometimes added dreaming right moment during outside wafts of mist?
Conclusion: A really worth listening album. One star deduction, because the style nunmal is really a matter of taste, and you should not blindly and unheard buy this disc definitely.
