The interesting thing about Jack White is that he his stamp on every kind of music, but without ever having to suppress his fellow musicians. Parade example is eg the duet with Alicia Keys for James Bond soundtrack. Seemingly completely open mind of Mr. White is push his music projects and be coming to him, what may come of it.
But back to the album. This has come clearly darker than the Raconteurs albums with a thick weft Queens of the Stone Age vibe, courage to pop unkomptatiblen songs, a really strong atmosphere and great songs. Personally, I had to get used to this music once. The songs set fire not once, but this album grows and grows and develops immmer more to one of my favorite albums. Unrestricted purchase recommendation to anyone who wants to get involved in the experiment.
