Star Wars - Clone Wars (Video Game)

Customer Review

I have since C64 SW each game that I got into the finger to the hilt played - even Rogue Leader had to be there despite the partly miserable gameplay and gameplay. I'm just a big fan of Star Wars and have even absorbed the less successful games (Rebellion, Phantom Menace). My collection for the PC is now quite handsome and there had a little ago for PS2. However, Clone Wars, I had less than two weeks and it was sold again! Even when opened the home screen and a square Clones stalked across the screen, I doubted that we are in 2003. The vehicles are - as usual with Star Wars and LucasArts - visually succeeded because they are angular probably of "Nature" from. But that the programmers are true polygon Scots, is reflected in the figures. The landscapes are not really what can be offered in video games today. Really disappointed I was on a SW game previously rare, but this time I was very disappointed! I thought that at least could be a consolation, the sequences on the crummy graphics ... But the constant jerking prevents any enjoyment! The gameplay I would generally describe as OK, even if the lightsaber battles are on foot not to control really great. Occasionally one also wonders why you have to fight as a Jedi of the Republic in a single landing craft against countless tanks ... Are the clones already all? If the rebellion has broken out? In addition, the synchronization as the array of GZSZ candidates who have not done it all works. For the original voices the money has probably no longer enough. I would have liked also digital sound, which is particularly effective in SW. In any case, this game is not the usual PS2 good value for money and finally make LucasArts must go in SW segment slightly. The (expensive) license to STAR WARS plan attribute to use music, names and designs of the films, is simply not enough. When I play as Vice City or even the somewhat dusty Soul Reaver 2 angucke me, I would prefer, Clone Wars would do in the PS2 shelves space for something useful.
